How to Read Your
1STPLAYER NGDP PSU Test Report

Every 1STPLAYER NGDP power supply ships with an individual factory test report — tied to your specific unit by a unique MES ID. To show you what a real report looks like, we randomly pulled one unit off the shelf and walked through its data. Here's what each result means and how to verify your own PSU before it ever powers a component.

Why a test report matters

Most PSU buyers focus on wattage and 80 PLUS certification. Those matter — but they describe a product design, not your unit. A Gold sticker tells you the platform passed efficiency testing. It doesn't confirm whether the specific unit you received was individually tested before shipping.

The 1STPLAYER NGDP series is different. Each fully modular power supply has its own factory test report, linked to it by a unique MES ID. Voltage stability, ripple suppression, OPP protection, Power Good signal timing, hold-up time, and efficiency at multiple load levels — all tested, all on record, all viewable by you.

How to access your report

Inside the 1STPLAYER NGDP packaging you'll find a MES ID information card with a QR code and your unit's serial number. Four steps to your full report:

What the report covers

The report opens with a header showing the product model, serial number, and top-level result. Below that, individual test steps cover every major performance area — from startup behaviour to full-load efficiency.

Key test steps explained

Voltage stability & ripple

The Hold On Adjust Test, Total Regulation Test, and Static Test check whether each voltage rail holds within ATX specification under different load conditions. The report also records Vpp (peak-to-peak voltage) — a direct measure of output ripple. The ATX specification allows up to 120mV ripple on the 12V rail. The 1STPLAYER NGDP GOLD 750W measured just 27–28mV — less than a quarter of the limit, leaving substantial headroom for transient load handling during GPU and CPU power spikes.

Over Power Protection (OPP)

The OPP test pushes the PSU beyond rated load to confirm the protection circuit engages at the correct point. On the NGDP GOLD 750W, OPP triggered at 1,168W — within the required 900W–1,350W window. The 1STPLAYER NGDP's full protection suite also includes OVP, UVP, OCP, and SCP, safeguarding every component in your build. A PSU that doesn't protect itself under overload is a risk to your entire build.

Power Good signal & timing

The Power Good (PG) signal tells your motherboard that all rails are stable and boot can proceed. ATX specification requires this between 100–150ms after power-on. The NGDP 750W measured 131ms on the 12V rail — squarely in spec. An out-of-range PG signal is one of the most common causes of unpredictable boot failures, even when voltages appear correct.

Hold-up time

Hold-up time measures how long the PSU sustains stable output during a brief AC input interruption — important for surviving momentary brownouts without a system crash. ATX 3.1 targets a minimum of 12ms. The NGDP report includes this test with the exact measured result.

Efficiency results

The Input Output Test verifies 80 PLUS Gold compliance across 20%, 50%, and 100% load at both 115V and 230V. Gold certification requires 87–92% depending on load level. Here's what the 1STPLAYER NGDP GOLD 750W actually measured:

Efficiency — 1STPLAYER NGDP GOLD 750W vs 80 PLUS Gold minimum 85% 88% 91% 94% 90% 91.5% 87% 90.2% 20% load 115V 230V 92% 92.1% 89% 90.5% 50% load 115V 230V 87% 89.3% 87% 88.6% 100% load 115V 230V 80 PLUS Gold minimum Measured (1STPLAYER NGDP GOLD 750W)

At 50% load on 115V — the benchmark most relevant to typical gaming workloads — the 1STPLAYER NGDP GOLD 750W measured 92.1% efficiency, clearing the 90% Gold requirement. Every load point and voltage input tested comfortably above the certification threshold.

What to check in 60 seconds

You don't need to read every line. Focus on these four things:

  • MES ID matches? Confirm the serial number at the top of the report against your card.
  • Test Result: PASS? Every step completed within specification.
  • 12V rail in range, ripple low? This rail powers your GPU and CPU — most critical for gaming builds.
  • OPP, PG timing, hold-up all passed? Protection and startup reliability confirmed.

The 1STPLAYER NGDP series is the only PSU line that provides individual unit-level test reports. For builders who want real data — not just box claims — it's a straightforward way to verify exactly what you're getting.
